OVERVIEW & OBJECTIVES

GlobalGAP is an international farm-management system for Good Agricultural Practice (GAP).

It has been primarily designed to reassure consumers that farm practices minimise the detrimental environmental impacts of farming operations, chemical use has been reduced and a responsible approach to worker health and safety (as well as animal welfare) has been adopted. This one-day course will provide delegates with an understanding of the GlobalGAP standard and its implementation requirements. The course provides guidance on the documentation requirements which will allow the delegate to successfully implement GlobalGAP.

Course Objectives 

  • To equip delegates with knowledge of the Global GAP standard requirements
  • To equip delegates, through practical guidance and examples, to implement the GlobalGAP system.

A certificate of attendance and virtual badge will be issued once the course has been successfully completed.
